In a move that seemed to be directed at businesses that have incensed owner Elon Musk,
the corporation once known as Twitter has been limiting the speed at which users ,
may obtain links to the New York Times, Facebook, and other news organizations and online rivals.
According to tests performed on Tuesday by The Washington Post,
users who clicked a link for one of the targeted websites on Musk's website, now called X,
had to wait around five seconds before seeing the page. The Reuters wire service, the Times,
and X's online competitors Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky, and Substack were among the websites that were delayed.
Musk has already singled out each of them for mockery or criticism.
